Liberty Pattern Doubles Up on Voxeljet VX1000 Printers to Expand Production Capabilities

Different projects call for different solutions, and we want to make sure we’re ready to serve you, no matter what. And that means staying at the forefront of 3D printing technology.

To do this, we invested in our first Voxeljet VX1000 3D printer just over one year ago. It was a great addition to Liberty Pattern Company’s operations, allowing us to produce:

  • High-quality small series that can be easily adapted and customized
  • Cost-effective components for complex mold assemblies

To expand our capabilities in 2025 and add a critical safety net, we purchased a second Voxeljet VX1000 3D printer. Now, if one Voxeljet VX1000 3D printer goes down or needs to be serviced, production doesn’t stop.

This universal printer provides a precise solution for printing complex geometries. In addition to traditional furan-printed cores, it also allows us to produce 3D printed cores utilizing high-strength phenolic binder.

With two of these printers in operation, we’re also able to:

  • Turn orders around even faster, reducing lead times to help you meet tight deadlines
  • Provide reliable service during periods of peak demand by taking on more projects at the same time
  • Scale to handle increased capacity for large-volume production
  • Procure bigger and more complex components in a single run, with a build volume of 1000 × 600 × 500 mm

For more than four decades, Liberty Pattern Company has produced top-quality work with on-time or early delivery. With the addition of this printer, we can continue to accelerate our production process for even faster delivery of high-quality components.

Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to invest in technology and capabilities to better serve you.
